Ted’s been working on a documentary film on the Gibson J-45 that started in 2016 and we’re happy to announce there’s a new trailer! This film explores the connections between artists and their J-45s, what brought the instrument to their hands, and what songs and adventures the J-45 has been a part of in their career.
The journey of this film began when Bob Dylan rented Ted Wulfers’ J-45 for sessions and rehearsals and after pondering what brought these two musicians to the Gibson J-45, thus began a story of inspiration and exploration of talking to musicians, luthiers, historians, shop owners about their guitars to see just what makes the Gibson J-45 the legend that it is.
