Thirteen years ago this morning one of the very best ever left this realm.... I used to run from this date on the calendar and dread its approach. Time has slowly built a bridge over that canyon and I see this date as a day to do everything. The memory of how the entire room lit up with energy as he went will be with me forever.

Thirteen years since, a song I wrote for him is currently a featured attraction in an award winning **film racing around the globe wowing audiences. I've been able to have some truly life changing & mind blowing adventures this past year that he's directlty related to and would have gotten SUCH a kick out of... with some truly eerie serendipities of times we enjoyed together decades ago without a clue then of their connection to this year's said adventures.

Though in those thirteen years, so much of what he loved, lived for, truly worshiped, worked for, worked with, took pride in and fought for in society & humanity has evaporated. If he would return today in just that short time gone, so much would be unrecognizable to him.

I love how people still tell amazing stories about him and laugh about some of his antics and adventures. We miss him but he is still around in the best of ways.

He taught me to wander, laugh, explore, question, rise and shine.... so that's what I'm going to today.

RIP John Wulfers. Miss you everyday.

If there were a hundred Michael Teach 's, the music business would be in better shape but those of us who knew him are lucky to have known just one... THE one...and what a guy! He supported music and so many of our careers in so many ways. A beacon of light with his funny laugh and grin and endless love of music. A great story swapper and genuine fan of humanity. I'll miss his check in messages and emails and of course his showcases and radio programs.

Rest in Peace, Power and Music my friend. Your show was something special all the way through to the last note! Thank you for everything!

Happy Caturday! In the last few weeks I've been in Belgium, France, all over Ireland, Northern Ireland, more Ireland, Illinois, California & just got back from filming a movie in Arizona... with my house almost burning down and two canceled and re-scheduled trips in the middle of all that. Been a bit of a whirlwind... Life is about change and improvisation and turning both into better adventures.

Here's a #Caturday photo from Belgium a cpl weeks ago with a little furry friend who almost ended up in my guitar case. Almost haha
